These are day-long events that take place on campus at Washington State University Vancouver, two Saturdays a month. Volunteer artists in residence and teachers lead activities in sculpture, performance, dance, poetry workshops, environmental education, outdoor education, and other arts-based instructional activities. Mentoring of summer program participants and introduction of new participants to AHAS are among the goals of this project. Also, these events are opportunities to introduce students to campus and encourage continuing education.
