Events

AHAS Saturdays
These are day-long events that take place on campus at Washington State University Vancouver, two Saturdays a month. Volunteer artists in residence and teachers lead activities in sculpture, performance, dance, poetry workshops, environmental education, outdoor education, and other arts-based instructional activities.

AHAS Outdoors! (Environmental Education Program)
AHAS Outdoors is a year-round environmental education project that integrates art and science in a project to encourage youth empowerment and environmental stewardship.

AHAS Shelter Tutoring
AHAS Shelter Tutoring is a school year program that provides homework support, arts instruction, and family literacy education in two family shelters.

AHAS Summer Program
AHAS Summer Programs are four and five weeks long, include daily summer educational support, and are offered to grades K-12; Free Breakfast and Lunch are provided by SHARE.

Youth Advisory Board
The Youth Advisory Board is a group of AHAS students that work to improve our community. This group is comprised of middle and high school students. Their purpose is to guide AHAS in creating and sustaining service learning projects
for all AHAS students.
